So You Know What We Are All About... On The Damascus Road Website

Nothing fancy-schmanchy, Just down to earth seriousness about your future in eternity. Before we were born I know absolutely nothing. Nor does any honest theologian. Everything they say about that is sheer speculation. But, after we are born there is lots to be said—we are born into eternity and in eternity we will stay after we die. However, the choice of where we spend our eternity after death, rests solely with nobody else but YOU! We are assured of spending our eternity in Heaven or hell. A simple matter of trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as the true Son of God and declaring that as your belief, (Romans 10:9-11) sets your soul on the path to Heaven. Remember this, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, You do not have to take a stand against Jesus or God to go to hell. That is already "Set in Stone". Read John 3:18 The ONLY way to chip that stone into fragments is John 3:16 believe in the name of God's only beloved Son, Jesus, and declaring that as your belief.

The old song, "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, I Just Want to Start a Flame In Your Heart," carries in that title the valid reason for this website. I want YOU to know Jesus and know Him as your Personal Saviour. I want to kindle a fire in your heart that will continue to grow under the Lord's guidance until you glow from it's warmth.

I cannot reach everyone in the world though everyone in the world can reach me. As YOU read these pages, I want to get that spark of a flame ingited in YOUR heart. If there are questions, and when aren't there, I stand ready with the Lord to guide me, to answer every question honestly and scripturally. This is not a chat room I will get back to you by e-mail and I don't even need to have your address (just your e-mail address. You can quiz me under a fictious name or your real name. The answers will always be the same and truthful. The only one you are accountable to is the Lord God and His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit (those three are one). There is an Answer page that may help you get started by answering some of your questions. Then there are message pages Damascus Road and Pearl of the East along with My Poems. There are also pages about me and my wife, Annie Lou and her dolls. I've gotten another page started with Lighter side Quotes & Jokes, but that is of least of importance. As time warrants these pages will be added to. But, first is to get all that I have ready for you so you can meet and greet your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. After the serious side comes the fun side of Christianity. Getting you SAVED and SECURE is the only reason for this site. Everything else is after that.     OK, there is another page that leads you to the poetry of Walter Malone his poems are brilliant and well conceived. Particularly "Opportunity", a poem written in the first person with opportunity being the first person. I have included his poetry as an honorary to Walter. He died in 1915. Added to the site is the complete book of C.I. Scofield—Plain Papers on the Holy Spirit. It is complete with all the Bible references linked to the actual verse(s). This is one of the best books I've ever encountered on the subject of The Holy Spirit. If you are looking for reference material or just a very good study, this is the book you've been looking for.     If reading through these pages you should find a misspelled word or two (Heaven forbid) or a link that doesn't work, I would appreciate a kind word to that effect. Of course, If you find the site appealing or informative, I'd like to hear about that too. There is a guest book with room for your comments (GOOD or bad).
