I Believe
This is my personal testimony
By Rev. Kenneth Francart, Retired

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I believe He died and rose again as payment for my sins. I believe He is coming back to put this world right and when He does He shall reign from the right hand of God the Father. I believe He will judge the living and the dead during the Great Judgment Day.
I believe God wants everyone in the world today (and in the future) to believe in His Son, Jesus, for his or her salvation (Romans 10:9-10). I believe He wants everyone who already believes in Him to tell others who do not. I believe that all Christians are ambassadors for Him.
I believe that the strength we have as Christians comes from the indwelling Holy Spirit and that He gives us the words and power to tell others about Jesus and what He has done for all of us.
I believe that God is made up of all three persons of the Godhead. There is Abba (papa) Father, His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that God is three in one and all three are one. I believe this because the Holy Scriptures delivers that message loud and clear. I believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God.
I believe that we, as Christians, are not to carry the fight against evil but that we are to stand firm in the Word of God to watch the Glory of God as He wins the battles and eventually the war against evil (Ephesians 6:18). I believe, because of that, we are to study diligently the word of God to show Him in all His Glory (2 Timothy 2:15).
I believe that those who do not believe in Jesus as their Saviour, has the opportunity to do so as long as a breath remains in their body. However, if they reject Him they are condemned to an eternal life in Hell (John 3:18).
I believe there is a literal Hell and that there is a flame burning that will never die and those unfortunate enough to go there will not cease to suffer the torment and will not cease to exist (Mark 9:43-48)
There is no "mere oblivion", as some suppose. There is also no "universal forgiveness", as others suppose. Any thinking individual will have to readily admit that either of those two suppositions would negate the need for Jesus. Jesus was born and lived, just as the Bible records His birth, life, crucifixion, burial, His resurrection, and His Ascension.
I am posting this on my website so that all who read this will determine to change their hearts toward God, receive Jesus as their Saviour, and ask him to come into their hearts to help them better understand Him. God said, "Ask and ye shall receive" (Matthew 7:7-8). Then ask Him to help you to read His Precious Word as He will guide you to the true knowledge of God.

Scripture References:

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV)

2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (KJV)
Matt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (KJV)
