On The Damascus Road

Hello
This is not a pleasant duty to perform but for those who have visited this site before and continue to do so, you recognize that a change has happened. For you who are viewing this site for the first time, you will not see the change, but now My wife's picture is now draped in black florals. On February 13, 2001 Annie Louise Francart passed into the Lord Jesus' hands. She suffered a heart attack in the early morning hours of the 10th and was rushed from the 5th floor of the hospital to the ICU/CCU of the Hospital. She was awake in the morning hours and lapsed into a coma in the afternoon. Three days later...     As she states in her message she was a Christian lady and trusted implicedly in the words of Jesus. I rest assured that she is now in heaven with those that have gone on before.
I am leaving her page just the same as she wanted it. Maybe in time. I can rerwrite or edit her words but for the time they will be left alone.
I am still in a state of shock and find this announcement very disturbing.
We were married for forty eight years. I do miss her deeply and will continue to do so until I join her in heaven to praise Jesus hand in hand with her.

Hi!
I'm Annie Lou, I am a Christian and I wrote as well. I wrote some poetry but I left most of that to my spouse. Most of my writings are in the short story format. I have been published in various literary magazines and won many awards in contests. I do not have an agent and I don't care to get one, yet. Most of my stories are fairy tales and fantasy. I have written some children's stories and love to do that.

My first love, Jesus, is followed very closely by my family. I have three children two boys and a girl in that order. My sons and daughter are all living away from here— California, Alabama and Arkansas. As a distant mother I write a lot of letters as well.
There is one more itsy-bitsy area you may find of interest it's my porcelain doll collection. My collection numbers only 39, but they are all precious to me. You can see my collection by clicking on any link in this paragraph to see them.
