BUILDERS
Can you
see the plan of God for each individual in the following poem from the pen of
R.L. Sharpe? Think about it.
Isn't it strange
That princes and kings,
And clowns that caper
In sawdust rings
And common folks
Like you and me
Are builders for eternity?
Each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass,
A book of rules;
And each must make
Ere life is flown
A stumbling block
Or a stepping stone.

Note:
The
shapeless mass is the heart that God gives each person. We like to think of the
Biblical Heart as the subconscious mind. Life is to be spent programming the
heart. The tools are: the world, the flesh and the devil plus a free
(conscious) mind with which to make choices. And the set of rules are set forth
in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.
